Kris Kroona focuses on value creation for firms through advisory and strategic consultation with executives in the VC, PE, and deal-making space. Kris serves as Chief Growth Officer for Prime Chief of Staff and leads the organization’s ability to serve, scale, and solve our clients’ biggest challenge, maximizing executive effectiveness for value creation.  

Previously, Kris worked as a consultant to solve “wicked problems” through analytics and algorithms in the private equity and venture capital investment space. He served in leadership roles for 4 startups, including several fund-raise rounds, and managed 3 strategic exits. A career generalist by choice, he has applied strategic rigor to solve “wicked problems” across industry sectors and across the C-suite functions. 

Kris earned an MBA from the University of Iowa in Finance and an undergraduate degree from Iowa State University. Throughout his career has served on several boards and committees as a member or an advisor.
